South Korea Flag

The South Korea flag was officially adopted on October 15, 1949.  The centered yin-yang symbol represents unity.  The three unbroken bars (upper left) represent heaven, the bars lower left symbolize fire, the upper right bars represent water and the three bars on the lower right symbolize earth.
